Mr. Talon, the Storytelling Dragon

Hello, friends both young and grown I want to introduce you to someone special. The face of TALLENFAMILIESSTORIES.com which helps me share stories and content on social media. Mr. Talon, a wise old dragon helps guide everything and was inspired by my students concern over my health. I John Tallen have several auto immune diagnoses that effect my skin and lungs. I temporarily took a break from being a Early Childhood Educator. Not being able educate and love my purpose in life hurts and various Management postions where not fulfilling. I had to slow down and take a part-time jobs and the rest has done me good. While an traditional teaching job my be difficult AI and modern technology allowed me to write a story. That raw journal lead me to ponder did I make a difference. By chance or faith I have randomly met several past students. I would not recognize them as they randomly turned into adults. The brief moments of being thanked for listening and inspiring them helped when I needed it.

Mr. Talon is more than a character he is my return as an educator, mentor and my storytelling avatar. He gives voice to the part of me that hides his insecurities around health and appearance. He is polished by mistakes and learned through life experience. Mr. Talon is born out of hardship of others and still believes in wonder. Mr. Talon has already became more then my own stories. I realized he is bigger then myself. I have been humbled by actions of empathy and support rather than laughter and pity. The children I have shared this character with suddenly felt comfortable giving encouragement or sharing their own struggles.

As John Tallen I find myself struggling to be positive and not see myself as an “Old Fart”. Once strong, but quickly fading I felt like hiding from the world. Since Covid I have been worried and negatively affected by the economy and politics like most adults. Mr. Talon finally arrived and turned the news off and started to seek good stories.

I have been inspired by several Content Creators and by several communities of individuals like myself. I pondered the children who keep positive regardless of the increasing fears in of the world of adults. This is why Mr. Talon works around the clock to help give all children a voice. Mr. Talon our community mascot so please treat him with kindness. In my Blogs I will share the many people and good that inspire me today.

The “Who Is John Tallen” page is a blog section where I speak directly to adults and mature readers. It is were I will be sharing my personal reflections, humor, and real-life stories. The Blogs are not just my core memories but my views on moments in time that shaped my life. The blogs will become its own time line of how we shaped the world of Tallen Family Stories.

Mr. Talon is why when you’re reading a children’s story. He is John Tallen using AI to blend stories where you’ll find colorful animals, laughter, and valuable lessons. The “Who is John Tallen?” blogs are the thoughts of a man learning trying to be a better version of himself.

I am willing to share and turn even my hardest moments into something meaningful. This means talking about real life even the messy owning your mistakes moments. Some blogs deal with topics that will be difficult for some readers. The blogs are never created for shock value or to hurt anyone’s feelings. Every person I mention in a blog has been protected by our Safety policy. Names or often changed or removed. Only adults who can give permission will have their real names used and only when needed.

The blogs instead of focusing on what is wrong, broken or the lost aims to celebrate the good things. If something causes you to no be your happy self share how you feel with a parent or caregiver. Adults sometimes we need to ask for help to. I have had to have so much professional help I consider myself one.
